MTT10: Free NASA sounds and how to use them in music education

Free NASA sounds and how to use them in music education

Some time ago, NASA released a whole collection of recorded sounds for the public to listen to and use freely. The collection includes sounds from space – stars, planets, satellites – sounds from rocket launch sequences and even iconic dialogue spoken by astronauts, NASA staff and politicians.

There are many ways you could use these sounds with your students and in this episode I talk through some of the options.

  2. Listen on your device (a smartphone, iPad or other tablet) by subscribing through iTunes or Stitcher. It’s totally FREE! This is my favourite way to listen because I can do other things at the same time (drive somewhere, run, workout, cook, clean…!)
