Record your listener question for a Music Tech Teacher podcast episode
In an upcoming episode of the Music Tech Teacher podcast I’m going to feature questions from listeners.
Would you like to contribute a question for me to answer on the podcast?
Your question can be about ANYTHING to do with music technology/education, like….
- What’s the best iPad app for students to use to send me videos of themselves playing recorder pieces?
- How do I add an audio file to Powerpoint that plays through my entire presentation?
- Where do I start with Chromebooks?
- How do I record from my keyboard straight into my notation software?
- How can I create a quiz that’s based on a Youtube video?
- What’s the difference between MIDI files and WAV files and when would I use each one?
- Anything else you like!
And don’t forget – there are no “silly” or “dumb” questions.
How to record your question
You can record your question using the Start Recording button below.
It’s really simple – when you’re ready, hit record and say your question into the mic on your device (your laptop, smartphone or tablet), check your recording and then fill in your name and email address. The Speakpipe service that I’m trialling for this purpose will then send the recording to me.
I’m keen to feature different voices on the podcast and would LOVE to havecontributions from readers of this website.
3 easy steps:
1. Think about what you’d like to ask. Keep your question short and succinct! (there’s a 2-minute maximum time length)
2.Click theStart Recording button. Sayyournameandwhere you’re fromand then ask yourquestion (make sure you’re in a quiet area!).
Example: “Hi it’s Katie from Melbourne, Australia and I’ve always wanted to know more aboutaudio file types. What’s the difference between MIDI, WAV, and MP3 files?”
3. PressStop. Listen to your recording by pressing thePlaybutton. If it’s ok, fill in your name and email address and hitSend. If you’d like to re-record the message, clickResetand start again
If your question is chosen for the podcast, I’ll play your recording during the show and then share my answer.
