Animated stickers just got a whole lot better
If you love using animated stickers in your Canva designs, then this post is for you!
For a long time, the Canva Elements library has had a large collection of stickers – animated GIFs that have transparent backgrounds – that you can use to enhance your designs and add interest and movement. While those GIFs are lots of fun, it’s not possible to customize them to match your design. And when you resize them, they have a tendency to look pixelated or blurry.
The good news is that in late 2022, Canva introduced a NEW type of animated sticker: Lottie stickers.
Free Lottie sticker guide
In my Canva course for music teachers: Create Beautiful Teaching Resources with Canva, we use stickers to create animated designs in Module 4, and when I refreshed the course recently, I discovered these incredible Lottie stickers. You can resize them while maintaining perfect clarity (they look seriously CRISP!) AND you can customize their colors.
At the time of writing, Lottie stickers can be hard to find in Canva – there’s no Lottie sticker category or filter available.
So…we’ve put together a reference guide in the form of a Canva template that showcases 34 Lottie sticker sets. It includes the set number (which you can copy/paste into the Elements search box) and shows some examples from each collection.
